Baulmes (French pronunciation: ) is a municipality in the district of Jura-Nord Vaudois in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland. Baulmes is first mentioned in 652 as in loco Balmensi. In 1123 it was mentioned as Balmis. Baulmes has an area, as of 2009, of 22.5 square kilometers (8.7 sq mi). Of this area, 9.02 km2 (3.48 sq mi) or 40.0% is used for agricultural purposes, while 12.4 km2 (4.8 sq mi) or 55.0% is forested.
