Crésuz (French: ; Arpitan: Crèsuz, locally Kreju [ˈkʁəʒy] (listen)) is a municipality in the district of Gruyère in the canton of Fribourg in Switzerland. Crésuz is first mentioned in 1301 as Cresu. Crésuz has an area, as of 2009, of 1.8 square kilometers (0.69 sq mi). Of this area, 0.61 km2 (0.24 sq mi) or 34.3% is used for agricultural purposes, while 0.63 km2 (0.24 sq mi) or 35.4% is forested.
