Hamar Municipality (Norwegian: Hamar kommune; [ˈhɑ̂ːmɑr] (listen)) is a municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Hedemarken. The administrative centre of the municipality is the town of Hamar. Other settlements in Hamar include Hjellum, Slemsrud, Ridabu, Ingeberg, and Ilseng. The 351-square-kilometre (136 sq mi) municipality is the 250th largest by area out of the 356 municipalities in Norway.
