Haice Plancy, chancellor of the Count of Champagne, provost of Saint-Quiriace de Provins [fr], sub-dean of Saint-Etienne and dean of Saint Peter between 1182 and 1189, became dean in 1186 and became bishop by the name of Barthélémi (Bartholomew) in 1190. He continued as both dean and bishop until his death in 1193.[6]
