Achstetten (German pronunciation: [ˈaxʃtetn̩]) is the northernmost municipality in the district of Biberach, in the region of Upper Swabia in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The villages of Oberholzheim, Bronnen and Stetten were incorporated into the municipality of Achstetten between 1972 and 1975. The strung-out village is situated west of the federal road Bundesstraße 30. The river Rot runs through it. Achstetten lies approximately 4 km (2.5 mi) north of the city of Laupheim and approximately 18 km (11 mi) south of the city of Ulm. More information...
