Agia Galini (Greek: Αγία Γαλήνη) is a village in Rethymno regional unit, Crete, Greece. During the Minoan civilisation (c.3000BC—c.1450BC) the village used to be a city called Soulia or Soulina, and was the port of ancient Syvritos. There are several competing origins for the source of Galini's name. According to the Greek Orthodox Church, Agia Galini (St. Galini) is said to have been martyred in Corinth in the 3rd century AD with her feast-day being celebrated on the 16th of April, and it is possible that the village was named after her.
