Anao, officially the Municipality of Anao (Pangasinan: Baley na Anao; Ilocano: Ili ti Anao; Tagalog: Bayan ng Anao), is a 5th class municipality in the province of Tarlac, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 12,208 people.  The smallest town in terms of land area in the whole of Tarlac, Anao covers a total land area of 23.87 square kilometres (2,387 ha). Formerly a part of Pangasinan province, Anao was founded and organized into a municipality on March 16, 1870.
