Audiokinetic Inc. is a Canadian software company based in Montreal, Quebec that develops audio software for the video game industry. Its main product is Wwise audio authoring software. On January 8, 2019, Sony Interactive Entertainment announced that they had acquired the company. Audiokinetic was founded in 2000 by Martin H. Klein, a veteran of the music, film, and gaming industries. In 2003, Audiokinetic was granted funding by the Alliance numériQC, the Quebec digital industry network.
