The Balboa Theater is a historic two-screen movie theater in the Outer Richmond neighborhood of San Francisco, California, US. Since 2012, it is part of the CinemaSF chain. It was formerly known as the New Balboa Theatre and is also called The Balboa. The theater was founded by the Samuel H. Levin which also owned many neighborhood theaters in the city as part of his chain known as San Francisco Theatres Inc., which included the Alexandria, Coronet, Coliseum, and El Rey.
