Biggs (formerly, Biggs Station) is a city in Butte County, California, United States. The population was 1,707 at the 2010 census, down from 1,793 at the 2000 census. The 2018 population estimate is 1,724. Biggs is located at 39°24′50″N 121°42′37″W / 39.41389°N 121.71028°W / 39.41389; -121.71028 (39.413820, -121.710316). According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.6 square miles (1.6 km2), all of it land. A post office was established at Biggs Station in 1871, and the name changed to Biggs in 1884. It was incorporated in 1903. Biggs is named for Maj.
