Brian Day MRCP (UK), FRCS (Eng), FRCS (C), (born January 29, 1947) is an orthopedic surgeon and health researcher in Canada, a past president of the Canadian Medical Association, and a prominent sometimes controversial advocate for privatization of Canada's health system. As the founder and medical director of a private clinic Cambie Surgery Centre and Specialist Referral Clinic in Vancouver, British Columbia, Day is a spokesperson for a high-profile, multi-year and ongoing lawsuit against the provincial government, Cambie Surgeries Corporation v.
