Buchillon is a municipality in the Swiss canton of Vaud, located in the district of Morges. Buchillon is first mentioned in 1228 as Chanliva. In 1339 it was mentioned as Buschillion. Buchillon has an area, as of 2009, of 2.1 square kilometers (0.81 sq mi). Of this area, 0.89 km2 (0.34 sq mi) or 41.8% is used for agricultural purposes, while 0.67 km2 (0.26 sq mi) or 31.5% is forested.
