Bulle (French:  (listen); Arpitan: Bulo [ˈbylo] (listen)) is a municipality in the district of Gruyère in the canton of Fribourg in Switzerland. In January 2006 Bulle incorporated the formerly independent municipality of La Tour-de-Trême. Bulle has an area, as of 2013, of 23.86 square kilometers (9.21 sq mi). Of this area, 10.03 km2 (3.87 sq mi) or 42.0% is used for agricultural purposes, while 7.55 km2 (2.92 sq mi) or 31.6% is forested.
