Chancy is a municipality of the Canton of Geneva, Switzerland. The westernmost point of the country is located there. Chancy is first mentioned in 1240 as Chancie. Chancy has an area, as of 2009, of 5.36 square kilometers (2.07 sq mi). Of this area, 2.8 km2 (1.1 sq mi) or 52.2% is used for agricultural purposes, while 1.75 km2 (0.68 sq mi) or 32.6% is forested.
