Châtel-Saint-Denis (French: ; Arpitan: Châtél, locally Tsathi [tsaˈθi] (listen), or Châtél-Sent-Denis, locally Tsathi-Chin-Dèni) is a municipality and district capital of the district of Veveyse in the canton of Fribourg in Switzerland. Châtel-Saint-Denis has an area of 47.93 km2 (18.51 sq mi). Of this area, 22.37 km2 (8.64 sq mi) or 46.7% is used for agricultural purposes, while 20.26 km2 (7.82 sq mi) or 42.3% is forested.
