Meade is a city in and the county seat of Meade County, Kansas, United States. As of the 2020 census, the population of the city was 1,505. Meade was both laid out and incorporated in 1885. It was named for Gen. George Meade. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.99 square miles (2.56 km2), all land.
