Nucet is a commune in Dâmbovița County, Muntenia, Romania with a population of 4,057 people. It is composed of three villages: Cazaci, Ilfoveni, and Nucet. The commune is located in the south-central part of Dâmbovița County, 20 km (12 mi) south of the county seat, Târgoviște, on the banks of the Dâmbovița River.
