Urziceni (Hungarian: Csanálos, Hungarian pronunciation: [ˈtʃɒnaːloʃ]; German: Schinal or Schönthal) is a commune in Satu Mare County, Romania, right on the Hungarian border. It is composed of two villages, Urziceni and Urziceni-Pădure (Csanáloserdő). The current local council has the following political composition, based on the results of the votes cast at the 2024 Romanian local elections. The commune is located in the western part of the county, at a distance of 8 km (5.0 mi) from Carei and 44 km (27 mi) from the county seat, Satu Mare.
