Dačice (Czech pronunciation: [ˈdatʃɪtsɛ]; German: Datschitz) is a town in Jindřichův Hradec District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 7,100 inhabitants. The town centre is well preserved and is protected by law as an urban monument zone. It is notable as the home of the sugar cube, which was invented here in 1843 by Jakob Christof Rad. Dačice is made up of town parts of Dačice I–V, and villages of Bílkov, Borek, Chlumec, Dolní Němčice, Hostkovice, Hradišťko, Lipolec, Malý Pěčín, Prostřední Vydří, Toužín and Velký Pěčín.
