Dietlikon is a municipality in the district of Bülach in the canton of Zürich in Switzerland, and belongs to the Glatt Valley (German: Glattal). Dietlikon is first mentioned in 1124 as Dietlinchoven. Dietlikon has an area of 4.2 km2 (1.6 sq mi). Of this area, 23.6% is used for agricultural purposes, while 31.1% is forested. Of the rest of the land, 44.1% is settled (buildings or roads) and the remainder (1.2%) is non-productive (rivers, glaciers or mountains).
