Yuk Hui is a Hong Kong philosopher and university professor. He is known for his writings on philosophy and technology. Hui has been described as one of the most interesting contemporary philosophers of technology. Hui earned his Computer Engineering degree from the University of Hong Kong, wrote his doctoral thesis under French philosopher Bernard Stiegler, and received his Habilitation in the philosophy of technology from Leuphana University in Germany.
