Dinnington High School is a coeducational comprehensive school in Dinnington, in the Metropolitan Borough of Rotherham, South Yorkshire, England. With origins dating back to 1743, Dinnington High School is the oldest secondary school in the Metropolitan Borough, and the second oldest in South Yorkshire. It was one of the first comprehensive schools to be established in the United Kingdom and is notable for being one of the only schools in the world to have buildings designed by famous architect Sir Basil Spence, who was responsible for the redesign of Coventry Cathedral.
