D-Link is a Taiwanese multinational networking equipment corporation headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan. It was founded in 1986 in Taipei as Datex Systems Inc., which is the predecessor of D-Link Corporation. In 1987, D-Link Corporation was officially established in Taiwan. D-Link Corporation went public and became the first networking company on the Taiwan Stock Exchange in 1994. It is now publicly traded on the TSEC and NSE stock exchanges.
