Dolná Ždaňa (Hungarian: Alsózsadány) is a village and municipality in Žiar nad Hronom District in the Banská Bystrica Region of central Slovakia. The municipality lies at an altitude of 238 metres (781 ft) and covers an area of 8.16 km2 (3.15 sq mi) (2025). In historical records, the village was first mentioned in 1391 (Sdan), when it belonged to Repište. In the 17th century, it passed to Banská Štiavnica’s Mine Chamber.
