Bank of Estonia (Estonian: Eesti Pank) is the central bank of Estonia and a member of the Eurosystem organisation of euro area central banks. The Bank of Estonia also belongs to the European System of Central Banks. It became a part of the European Central Bank (ECB) when Estonia adopted the euro on 1 January, 2011. Until then, the bank was responsible for the former national Estonian currency, the kroon.
