Fadli Zon (born 1 June 1971) is an Indonesian politician, presently serving as a member of the People's Representative Council, where he was previously Deputy Speaker from 2014 to 2019. He was one of the founders of Prabowo Subianto's Great Indonesia Movement Party (Gerindra), where he is vice chairman. Fadli was one of the most vocal critics of President Joko Widodo during the president's first term, from 2014 to 2019, but he toned down his criticism after Gerindra joined the ruling coalition for Widodo's second term.
