CEMAT (Italian acronym for Centri musicali attrezzati—lit. "Equipped musical centers; thus, the Federation of Italian Electroacoustic Music Centers). CEMAT was founded in 1996 with the purpose of promoting the activity of Italian computer music research and production centers.
