Földes is a large village in Hajdú-Bihar County, in the Northern Great Plain region of eastern Hungary. It covers an area of 65.23 km2 (25 sq mi) and has a population of 3,960 people (2016). It is located next to the main road 42 between Püspökladány and Berettyóújfalu, 34 km southwest of Debrecen. The Eastern Main Channel is 5 km northeast from Földes.
