Grandview is a city in Jackson County, Missouri, United States. The population was 24,475 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Kansas City metropolitan area. A post office called Grandview has been in operation since 1889. The city was named for the view obtained from the elevated town site. Grandview is located at 38°53′6″N 94°31′21″W / 38.88500°N 94.52250°W / 38.88500; -94.52250 (38.885007, -94.522578), along U.S. Route 71, bordering Kansas City to the south.
