Hakkâri (Turkish pronunciation: ; Kurdish: Colemêrg), formerly known as Julamerk, (Turkish: Çölemerik) is a city and the seat of Hakkâri District in the Hakkâri Province of Turkey. The city is populated by Kurds and had a population of 60,098 in 2022. It is located about 40 kilometres from the Iraq–Turkey border, but the distance to the nearest Iraqi border crossing (Ibrahim Khalil Border Crossing) by road is about 270 km.
