HAY is a Danish furniture company founded in Copenhagen, Denmark, in 2002 by Mette and Rolf Hay. Its goal was to create and sell well-designed furniture that was accessible in terms of price as well as "design concepts". As of 2019, the brand is majority-owned by U.S. furniture company Herman Miller. The cofounders serve as HAY's creative directors, with Rolf in charge of the furniture division and Mette in charge of accessories.
