Hangzhou Dianzi University (HDU) (simplified Chinese: 杭州电子科技大学; traditional Chinese: 杭州電子科技大學; pinyin: Hángzhōu diànzǐ kējì dàxué) is a government funded public university in Hangzhou, China. It is under the co-guidance of the Zhejiang Provincial Government and the Ministry of Information Industry of China. It was founded in 1956 as the second public university in Zhejiang Province. It was listed in the first group of the 5 universities with prior development by the Provincial Government.
