The International Indian School Jeddah, (Arabic: المدرسة الهندية العالميه بجدة; Hindi: अंतर्राष्ट्रीय भारतीय विद्यालय जेद्दा) formerly known as the Embassy of India School, is an elementary and secondary school for the children of Indian nationals in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, with boys and girls taught separately in English. It was founded in 1969. The School is part of global International Indian Schools including International Indian School, Riyadh On the encouragement of the local Indian community, Rafiuddin S. Fazulbhoy started the school on a small scale in 1969. It was then called "Embassy of India School, Jeddah". The construction of the present girls' section started in 1982 with the foundation stone laid by Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and was completed in 1984. The construction of boys' section was started in 1992 and completed in 1994. As of 2011, the school teaches more than 12,000 students.
