Irving Independent School District is a school district based in Irving, Texas (USA). The district, which covers 48.5 square miles (126 km2), serves most of the city of Irving, except for Valley Ranch and a portion of Las Colinas. The district also serves small portions of Grand Prairie and Dallas. There are two parts of West Dallas that are in Irving ISD: an area south of the west fork of the Trinity River and north of the Bernal Greenbelt, and an area west of Top Line Drive and south of the Trinity River.
