Jackson is a town in Aiken County, South Carolina, United States. As of the 2020 census, Jackson had a population of 1,521. It is part of the Augusta, Georgia metropolitan area. Silver Bluff was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977. Jackson is located in southern Aiken County, 2 miles (3 km) northeast of the Savannah River. It is the closest community northwest of the U.S. Department of Energy Savannah River Site.
