Jargeau (French pronunciation: ) is a commune in the Loiret department in north-central France. It lies about 119 km (74 mi) south of Paris. The town is located in the French natural region of the Loire Valley, the former province of Orleans and the urban area of Orleans. It has a flat terrain with an altitude of about 100 metres (330 ft). The maximum elevation is 108 metres (354 ft) where the church stands, and the minimum of 97 metres (318 ft).
