It is doing business in Kyoto Prefecture as KBS Kyoto (KBS京都) and in Shiga Prefecture as "KBS Shiga" (KBS滋賀) Its radio station serves Kyoto and Shiga Prefectures and is a member of National Radio Network (NRN).
