Marc Prud'hommeaux and co-signatories of the open letter have engaged competition regulators in multiple jurisdictions. In the United States, Prud'hommeaux contacted antitrust officials in four states as well as the Department of Justice, citing the policy's interaction with remedies from the ongoing United States v.
