Česká Kubice (German: Böhmisch Kubitzen) is a municipality and village in Domažlice District in the Plzeň Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 1,000 inhabitants. Česká Kubice consists of seven municipal parts (in brackets population according to the 2021 census): The name Kubice is a diminutive of Kouba, which is the Czech name of the river Chamb and the German town Cham. Malá Kouba ('little Kouba') was probably name of a stream that originates here and then flows into the Chamb.
