Le Pâquier (French: ; Arpitan: Le Pâquiér [lə paˈci] (listen)) is a municipality in the district of Gruyère in the canton of Fribourg in Switzerland. Le Pâquier is first mentioned in 1637 as Pasquier. Le Pâquier has an area, as of 2009, of 4.5 square kilometers (1.7 sq mi). Of this area, 3.08 km2 (1.19 sq mi) or 68.6% is used for agricultural purposes, while 0.78 km2 (0.30 sq mi) or 17.4% is forested.
