Lise Davidsen (born 8 February 1987 in Stokke) is a Norwegian opera singer, known as a lyric dramatic soprano. She came to prominence after winning the Operalia competition in London in 2015. Lise Davidsen was born in 1987 in Stokke, and began playing guitar and singing when she was fifteen. As she progressed, she focused on singing, and received a bachelor's degree from the Grieg Academy of Music in Bergen, Norway, in 2010. During this period she worked with well-known singers such as Bettina Smith and Hilde Haraldsen Sveen, and sang as a mezzo-soprano with the Norwegian Soloists Choir. More information...
