West Lombok Regency (Indonesian: Kabupaten Lombok Barat) is a regency of the Indonesian Province of West Nusa Tenggara. It is located on the island of Lombok and the administrative capital is the town of Gerung. The regency covers an area of 1,053.92 km2 and had a population of 599,609 at the 2010 census and 721,481 at the 2020 census; the official estiimate as at mid 2021 was 731,810. West Lombok Regency is bounded by North Lombok Regency to the north, Central Lombok Regency to the east and the Lombok Strait to the west.
