Brandýs nad Orlicí (Czech pronunciation: [ˈbrandiːs ˈnat orlɪtsiː]; German: Brandeis an der Adler) is a town in Ústí nad Orlicí District in the Pardubice Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 1,300 inhabitants. The historic town centre is well preserved and is protected by law as an urban monument zone. Brandýs nad Orlicí is located about 8 kilometres (5 mi) northwest of Ústí nad Orlicí and 35 km (22 mi) east of Pardubice. It lies in the Svitavy Uplands.
