Výsluní (earlier also Suniperk; German: Sonnenberg) is a town in Chomutov District in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 300 inhabitants. Hamlets of Kýšovice, Sobětice, Třebíška, Úbočí and Volyně are administrative parts of Výsluní. Výsluní is located about 11 kilometres (7 mi) west of Chomutov and 36 km (22 mi) northeast of Karlovy Vary. It briefly borders Germany in the north. It lies in the Ore Mountains. The highest point is at 914 metres (2,999 ft) above sea level. The Prunéřovský stream springs in the municipal territory and flows through the town to the east, which then turn to the southwest and forms the municipal border. More information...
