Vyšší Brod (Czech pronunciation: [ˈvɪʃiː ˈbrot]; German: Hohenfurth) is a town in Český Krumlov District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 2,500 inhabitants. It is the southernmost municipality in the Czech Republic. Vyšší Brod Monastery, an important historic landmark, is located in the town.
