Mikulčice (Czech pronunciation: [ˈmi.kul.tʃi.tsɛ]) is a municipality and village in Hodonín District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 2,000 inhabitants. The village of Těšice is an administrative part of Mikulčice. Mikulčice and Těšice are urbanistically fused. Mikulčice is located about 6 kilometres (4 mi) southeast of Hodonín, on the border with Slovakia. It lies in a flat landscape of the Lower Morava Valley.
