Milevsko (Czech pronunciation: [ˈmɪlɛfsko]; German: Mühlhausen) is a town in Písek District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 8,000 inhabitants. Villages of Dmýštice, Klisín, Něžovice, Rukáveč and Velká are administrative parts of Milevsko. Velká forms an exclave of the municipal territory. Milevsko is located about 21 kilometres (13 mi) northeast of Písek and 62 km (39 mi) south of Prague. Most of the municipal territory lies in the Tábor Uplands, but the northern part extends into the Vlašim Uplands and includes the highest point of Milevsko, the hill Zběžnice at 608 metres (1,995 ft).
