The Ministry of Economy of Armenia (Armenian: Հայաստանի էկոնոմիկայի նախարարություն, romanized: Ekonomikayi nakhararut’yun) is a ministry within the Government of Armenia. It was formed in 1990 after the reorganization of the State Planning Committee of the Soviet Socialist Republic of Armenia. On 10 June 1997, in accordance with Armenian Presidential Decree No. 747 on "Changes in Structure of the Government of the Republic of Armenia” the Ministry of Trade, Services and Tourism, the Ministry of Industry, and the Ministry of Economy were merged into one ministry: the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Armenia.
