Bělá pod Bezdězem (German: Weisswasser) is a town in Mladá Boleslav District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 4,800 inhabitants. The town centre is well preserved and is protected by law as urban monument zone. Villages of Bezdědice, Březinka, Hlínoviště and Vrchbělá are administrative parts of Bělá pod Bezdězem. Bezdědice forms an exclave of the municipal territory. The town's name is derived from the local stream Bělá and the nearby hill Bezděz.
