Beijing No. 8 High School (BJBZH; simplified Chinese: 北京市第八中学; traditional Chinese: 北京市第八中學; pinyin: Běijīngshì Dìbā Zhōngxué) is a public beacon secondary school (Grade 7–12) located in Xicheng District of Beijing, China. No. 8 has been one of the best schools in the city for nearly a century. Approximately one in five graduates matriculate to Peking University or Tsinghua University each year. The school's regulation size athletic facilities, including soccer field, running track, underground athletic center, swimming pool, and several basketball courts, were used as training and practice facilities during the 2008 Olympics.
